KIDS TRY SO HARD TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE. A CHILD STRIVING TO DO THEIR BEST SHOULD NEVER BE PENALIZED FOR MAKING A MISTAKE BUT ENCOURAGED. WINNING IS A TEAM ORIENTED GOAL. THESE KIDS NEED THEIR COACHES TO READ WINNING WITHOUT WINNING. YOU CAN HELP.

Winning Without Winning is a book that among many other things;

  • Make mistakes a learning experienceFocuses on creating and instilling positive attitudes in our children
  • Focuses on children having fun (That is why they join anything in the first place)
  • Demonstrates how the children win every game regardless of outcome
  • The end result of adults reading this book is countless positive lessons being passed on to our children
  • Creates an awareness that will surprise you (You will see yourself in this book)
  • Teaches you what really matters in a child's world

Winning Without Winning has affected many lives in very positive ways, the biggest beneficiaries being the children. Response from hundreds of people have made a similar comment; "Every adult needs to read this book."

Equipment is a necessary part for any activity and a substantial amount of funds are spent each year upgrading, replacing, repairing etc. Some funds are spent putting coaches through clinics, which is always a good idea. The downside of clinics is the focus is on the physical part of the game and due to the cost per coach, is usually restricted to the coaches of all-star or select teams. The majority of coaches are confined to house leagues and never attend these clinics.

So when is comes to the attitude of coaches, what training are they given to handle the children? Unfortunately, very little if any at all. A teacher must complete several years of university in order to teach our children. A positive frame of mind among so many other attitude-related things is part of that education. There are many similarities between a teacher and a coach. Imagine the public outcry if the actions of some coaches were displayed by a teacher in a classroom.

There is a loud cry for a book like Winning Without Winning. Several organizations have expressed interest in obtaining a copy for each coach but lack the funds to make this happen.

There are companies that sponsor entire divisions and in some cases entire leagues. This money is well spent on equipment, uniforms, playing time, officials, etc.

Why not consider providing the coaches of a division or a league with a copy of Winning Without Winning? Any substantial purchase could result in your name and/or 'company name and logo' in the book. The sooner a single coach reads it, the sooner more children will benefit.
